About Us
Pastor John English, founder and Senior Pastor for Restored Ministries retired from the US Military as a Special Agent, with experience as a Criminal Investigator, Counterintelligence Officer and Counterterrorism Operator, conducting tactical and operational activities for the United States Government and Department of Defense worldwide.
He speaks from personal experience in not understanding how pain, anxiety, depression, and adversity could fit into a positive plan for life. Having traveled extensively throughout the world, he developed a unique perspective on culture and humanity, as well as gaining an introspective insight into adverse stressors, concerns, and issues.
He understands the unique situations military members, veterans, and first responders encounter and knows first-hand how these issues manifest when left unchallenged; often leading to devastating results. He established Restored Ministries in 2014 out of a desire to help those struggling with issues related to personal trauma resulting from the unique situations related to their professions.
He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Fire Science from Columbia Southern University, his Master’s Degree in Pastoral Care and Counseling from Ohio Christian University, and he is a member of the American Association of Pastoral Counselors, the American Academy of Experts in Traumatic Stress, the National Center for Crisis Management, and the Federal Law Enforcement Officers Association.
